Community & Review Guidelines

TradeNeighbor exists to help legitimate businesses build productive local relationships.
Members must:
- represent their businesses and services accurately;
- communicate professionally;
- honor accepted commitments;
- use realistic service values;
- disclose important restrictions before acceptance;
- mark fulfillment truthfully; and
- attempt to resolve disagreements in good faith.
Members may not use TradeNeighbor for fraud, threats, harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, spam, impersonation, manipulation of Trade Balance, fake trades, fake reviews, malicious content, or unauthorized access.
Reviews
Reviews should reflect a genuine TradeNeighbor interaction.
Do not submit a review:
- for a transaction that did not occur;
- in exchange for compensation for a particular rating;
- to retaliate or threaten;
- containing knowingly false information;
- revealing unnecessary private information; or
- from an account you control about your own business.
TradeNeighbor may moderate content to enforce these rules but does not guarantee the accuracy of member content.
Messaging
Do not use messaging to send spam, malware, abusive material, or unrelated mass solicitations.
TradeNeighbor may apply reasonable messaging limits to prevent abuse.
Platform Circumvention
Businesses are free to develop legitimate relationships with one another. However, members may not manipulate Platform records, create fake transactions, or intentionally misrepresent activity to evade membership restrictions, abuse promotions/referrals, or falsify Trade Balance.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, TradeNeighbor may warn, restrict, suspend, remove content from, or terminate an account.
